Dear current Sanitary Sewer Customer,
Our office will be upgrading the software we use for our
sewer billing in 2026.
We are hoping that with this new software system, we will be
able to offer better payment options, along with email billing as an additional
option to the monthly postcard that you currently receive in the mail.
One notable change with the upgrade will be with customer
account numbers.
Currently, account numbers end with a decimal followed by 2
digits. The new system is unable to convert our current account numbers with the
decimal point in place.
To accommodate this change without issuing new account
numbers, we will transition all active accounts into the new software without
the decimal point.
This change will mostly affect customers set up for autopay
via our online web portal or their banking institution, and customers who pay
monthly online. Autopay accounts will need to be reestablished, as what is
currently established will no longer be active once the software change goes
into effect.
Currently, we feel those are the most notable changes. As
more information becomes available regarding additional updates, we will do our
best to notify customers via our current web portal, mailings, or emails (for
accounts with email addresses on file).
